Darvey To writing workshop with Ðât Nuóc Library!

Award-winning 100 Story Building volunteer and writer Darvey To, who’s been involved with Early Harvest since the very start, is co-facilitating a writing workshop this Saturday with Ðât Nuóc Library!

Darvey will be working alongside Vietnamese writer Phuong Lê to help participants work on a piece of writing - a story, a poem, a letter, anything! - based on objects they bring with them. Participants will also get to make new friends as they collaborate, chat and share some Vietnamese snacks!

When: 10:30 AM - 1:00 PM on Saturday, 25 May 2024
The workshop starts at 11 AM sharp and runs for 2 hours
Where: Arts Gen (Mario's Studio) at Footscray Community Arts Centre, 45 Moreland Street Footscray
The venue is wheelchair accessible with parking available on-site. Masks are encouraged.
Cost: Free, but you need to register
Register and get more information via Ðât Nuóc Library’s online form

Ðât Nuóc Library is a community-curated collection of Vietnamese and diaspora books, currently part of the SHELF collections hosted by Arts Gen at the Footscray Community Arts Centre.

We apologise that due to limitations in the fonts used by our website, we are unable to correctly display Vietnamese spellings for Đất Nước Library or Phương Lê. The above are approximations. We’re working on it!
