Early Harvest - Choose Your Own Adventure

Workshop Session Six

For this session our young editors met 100 Story Building facilitator Ben McKenzie who worked with us on the first draft of our Choose Your Own Adventure story for this year’s Early Harvest. Ben also gave us a fantastic presentation on his creative career path and how the "Choose Your Own Adventure" story model applies to his work as a writer, performer and throughout all the other creative games and shows he comes up with!

The young editors also started working together on their very own ‘Choose Your Own Adventure’ story for Early Harvest - we can’t wait to show you all the multiple adventure endings so YOU the reader can decide how the story develops!

Early Harvest is a dynamic program for upper-primary students that gives them an in-depth experience of the publishing process. Under the program, we bring together an editorial board of Year 5 and 6 students who publish an annual fiction publication written by their peers.
