Weird and wonderful holiday programs knocking at our door...
It has been a busy time for us here at 100 Story Building, welcoming bright new people to the organisation and farewelling some old ones. We can't wait to introduce you to the new faces of 100 Story Building in the upcoming weeks.
The next month see us gearing up for our annual fundraiser, pencilled in for mid-May, so stay tuned for news about our campaign and how you can help!
These Autumn school holidays, we are proud to present not just one but two school holiday offerings for the young and whimsical.
Weird Doors of the West is a 2-day program at 100 Story Building HQ, presented in partnership with Open House Melbourne. Young writers will set off on a quest through the west, unlocking the mysteries behind trapdoors and gateways with the help of actual (we checked!) architects.
Then, we will be delivering our famous Choose Your Own Adventure workshop in a brand new space in Brunswick... Balam Balam Place in the second week of the school holidays. We will be bringing the zines and the adventure stories will come from you! Join us for one or both of our holiday programs!
We are excited to share a special project we are delivering in partnership with Maribyrnong City Council and cohealth, working with families impacted by the 2022 Maribyrnong floods, read on for more details.
Just announced, we have opened expressions of interest from artists and makers to co-design and co-create our Story Hubs at Glengala and Broadmeadows Valley Primary Schools. Check out our website for more details and to apply. Please share with anyone who might be interested!
We are looking forward to sharing stories and adventures with you over the holidays and into Term 2.
