Story Hub is a school and community program aimed at developing curious, confident and engaged learners. We work with schools and/or community organisations* to develop unique co-designed Story Hubs - a wondrous and imaginative new space built within the school in collaboration with local artists, providing an opportunity for students and teachers to step outside the boundaries of their classrooms.
In their Story Hub students collaborate and take creative risks in their learning and teachers use the space as a tool to transform their practice and support creativity.
In this Information Session, you will have the opportunity to learn about the Story Hub model, ask questions, gain valuable insights into the program and hear from teachers of existing Story Hub schools.
Find out more about Story Hubs by downloading our program prospectus for 2025, or the “What, Why, How?” information package for the 2025-2026 intake. You can also read about our outcomes, including independent evaluation reports for the program on our website.
*Our priority partners include:
Primary and secondary schools with ICSEA values below 1000
Organisations that work with children and young people who are disengaged, or at risk of disengagement with education
Community groups who work with children and young people in low socio-economic areas
Story Hubs is a universal, whole-school approach but can also support a targeted intervention need.
