Be careful if you're wandering down Errol Street in the next few weeks because a skeleton monster with seventy-two eyes has taken over a class at North Melbourne Primary School, along with a hundred-legged bug eater and a car-eating boy! It's all part of the Pigeons visual literacy project, This is a Stick-Up!For the next six weeks the students of Mark Quinn's grade 1/2 class will be letting their imaginations run wild with 3rd and 4th year Art Education students at the University of Melbourne. Using paste-up techniques, the monsters will come to life on the school's water tanks, as the kids and uni students share ideas in an exchange of pictures. You can read more about the project here!
