Fundraising Champ: Gabe

Meet Gabe. Gabe is one generous dude. He has donated his time to help build 100 Story Building, supported our school workshop program through Kids in Philanthropy and given us his hands* at working bees.  Now he has raised over $250 for us by asking his friends to donate money instead of buying him birthday presents. What a champ. Thank you Gabe!

If you could be a character in a book, who would you be?

I would be Emmet from the Lego Movie as he thinks he is ordinary but he is actually special.

If Godzilla attacked, which Melbourne building (other than 100SB!) would you try to save?

First Gabe said 100SB. I asked him to choose again. Then he said the Royal Children's Hospital.

What was your last fancy dress costume?

A block of Lego.

And why did you ask your friends to donate to 100 Story Building instead of giving you a present?

Because some kids need books to read so that they can learn and I wanted to help them. *Despite photo evidence, Gabe does still have his hands. We didn't let him actually give us those.
