DEC NEWS | Summer Holiday program, fond farewells and a list of launches

Welcome to our final newsletter of the year, we have loads to share with you. Starting with, we are in the final stage of selecting our new CEO and we'll be able to share the exciting appointment with you soon. so stay tuned. 

In other massive news, our beloved Story Hubs Manager and Co-Founder Jessica Tran has announced that she is leaving at the end of the year, read on below for full announcement. 

It's been a busy few months of launches, from the 13th Early Harvest book 'Two-Faced Tales', Dinjerra PS Story Hub, A Thousand Words photography exhibition and the second anthology from our secondary after-school group 'Tales of the Turnip Isles'.

Since our last few holiday programs captured imaginations and offered a wonderful creative outlet in the holidays, we are excited to announce we will be running a 3 full day creative summer program in January. TRILOGY - Creative Summer Quest will be a creative experience like no other, so don't wait until next year, book your young person a spot today.

Welcome to our new Story Hub schools in 2025, Broadmeadows Valley PSCroydon Community SchoolGlengala PS and Warringa Park PS we can't wait to set off on the Story Hubs journey with you in Term 1 next year. 

As we approach the end of the year, please show your support by donating to our 2024 Building Futures Campaign to fund ongoing creative literacy programs in our building into next year. This year we aimed to reach a $50,000 target to unlock the potential and activate our new building. We are almost there, and just need a little extra push to reach our goal. With your generous support we can build creative futures together so please give now! 

Finally, our office will be closed from Monday 23rd Dec - Friday 3rd January 2025. Wishing you a creative and rejuvenating holidays and we look forward to working with you in 2025!
