The Building makes history

The Building life has found its place in Australian history. To be precise, the Australian parliamentary history! On 20 June 2018, the State Member of Sunbury Josh Bull MP (who took an audacious trip down the trapdoor recently) put in a good word on our behalf at the Victorian Parliament. Here are his words as faithfully recorded by our administrative Narwhals on Level 20.‘Last week, I had the pleasure of meeting Lachlann Carter, the CEO and co-founder of 100 Story Building, at their custom-designed creative space for children in Footscray. The 100 Story Building centre has worked with more than 20 000 children and young people since it opened its doors five years ago.Through this visit I was able to get an insight into their programs and how they ensure that children and young people, particularly those from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds and marginalised communities, are given the opportunity to foster their creative voice and have their ideas shared and respected. This was a fantastic visit. I urge everyone to get down there if they have the opportunity, and I look forward to working with the organisation well into the future.’The residents of the Building thank Mr Bull for his support. You too can support us by buying a Level through our ‘100 Story Sale’.
